Diffusiondilalyzer ACILYZER
Separation units to separate ions of acids and salts through ion exchange membranes by concentration of solution. The units are applicable for recovery and/or purification of free acids from sulfuric-, chloric-, nitric-, fluoric-acid waste and recovery of alkali.

Principle
Diffusion Dialysis is a method for recovering free acid using a concentration difference as its driving force at both side of solution between which Ion Exchange Membrane is placed.
Usually continuous operation of pickling bath allows reduction of free acid concentration and increase of dissolved metal content which results in decrease of pickling performance.
When the Diffusiondialyzer is equipped in this case, it can separate free acid from the mixed solution of metal and acid to maintain acid and metal content at a constant level. The recovered acid is returned to the pickling bath and recycled.
